Account Manager

The Account Manager works with a territory of existing customers, building relationships and ensuring customer success. The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to ensure a positive customer experience and to build loyal customers. The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support for existing customers.

Duties include:

  • Maintain regular contact and communication with existing customers
  • Contact existing customers regarding their upcoming purchasing needs; process orders and help instructors, students, and administrators to complete the buying process
  • Provide estimates for future sales for existing accounts based on enrollment estimates and buying cycles
  • Communicate with customers regarding upcoming product changes, renewals, orders, and fulfillment
  • Conduct or schedule periodic training for new instructors and administrators
  • Identify personnel changes at schools including instructors teaching courses and administrator changes that might impact future product purchasing
  • Help new customers with implementation issues
  • Respond to customer problems with purchasing, implementation, and use, involving other TestOut personnel as appropriate
  • Analyze course use and provide information to school administrators regarding student success or recommendations for product use leading to improved learning outcomes
  • Foster positive relationships with instructors and administrators, reaching out in personal ways to build loyalty; encourage additional relationships between TestOut and individuals at the school
  • Research existing customers and prospects within the territory to identify contact information for potential increased sales
  • Identify lost customers and contact them to learn more about their experience with our products
  • Notify the sales representative and sales executives about new opportunities or changed purchasing status for accounts

  • CRM software familiarity

Desired Skills
