A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MARKETING SPECIALIST
As a Marketing Specialist for the K-12 team, you will market our IT training and certification
courseware curriculum to K-12 educators who teach computer and IT classes. You develop and execute measurable demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline through email, direct mail, web, and social channels. Your previous experience assists you in understanding a target market including segment, persona, plain points, interests, and needs. Using your strong writing skills, you write compelling sales copy to communicate our unique software training technology in a way that resonates and drives action.
You coordinate with Creative and Marketing Operations teams to develop, execute, and reuse campaign elements such as email graphics, product pages, landing pages, mailers, web banners, webinars, case studies, and videos. By tracking, monitoring, and reporting campaign results and continually testing, experimenting, and tweaking campaign elements you are able to report successes and learn from failures to improve your work. You are proud of the part you play in making a difference in people's lives through our breakthrough technology.
- At least a year of experience in a digital marketing role
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, or PR preferred OR an intriguing reason for not having one
- Strong writing skills
- Experience writing direct response messages (headline, unique sales proposition, call to action)
Experience generating leads in a business to business setting is strongly preferred. Design and HTML experience is a plus! Marketing automation experience such as HubSpot is preferred.
